My Birthday!


My birthday is almost here, of course, depending on when you read this, it could already be here... or gone. Not that it matters, we're very celebratory people around here, so pretty much we take a week to celebrate. A lot more fun that way.

And yes, I was born 9th day, 9th month. My birth year adds up to be 9, which makes the birth number 9. The number has become quite lucky for me, popping up everywhere, maybe I'll play the lottery tomorrow as well. If we win, I'm totally getting the number 9 tattooed on me! I would anyway if I could find an attractive representation of the number. I will admit, I'm a little geeky excited that the movie 9 opens tomorrow. The movie better be good dammit.

Thanks for those of you who somehow figured out when my birthday was and sent me fabulous messages and fun gifts! If you're ever at a loss as to what to get me - art! I adore art! Art of myself is especially fabulous, making me rather vain, I know! Art of me as VooDoo Baby, ah that's just icing on the very tasty cake!

I've been pretty busy lately, without much work going up I know, but I promise that there are some really fabulous projects in the works. I may be a bit touch and go still for the next few weeks as I'll be working at Terrorfest, bringing to life a fabulous new character to life for their haunted attraction. Of course, we'll do a pro shoot as well!

The Official (and original!) Acid PopTart

I write, model, photograph, act, sew, create - you get the picture.

I do a lot with the goth subculture, mostly since I'm the Fashion Editor for Gothic Beauty Magazine, which keeps me immersed in darkly elegant fashions. When it comes to fashion and related, I do a lot of exclusive blogging over at the Gothic Beauty Magazine website! ([link])

I do a lot of modeling for various clothing companies and magazines, and I also pose for a lot of my friends who are artists. Most wardrobe I'm showing in photos, I do link to in my artist's comments section, so if you're interested in where to get what I wear - just check there! If for some reason I've forgotten, leave me a comment!

I also have a drop dead gorgeous comic book character named VooDoo Baby, who I'm working on for a book later this year.
